The Institute for Sonic Welfare is excited to announce the launch of Dom Sweet Dome, an annual Artist-in-Residence program. Each year, five international and regional artists will be invited to spend time in the Dom im Berg and create spatial sound works that are influenced by the site’s unique acoustic environment.

This premiere concert will showcase the works of this year’s resident artists:
GERHARD ECKEL – A composer and researcher exploring spatial sound, virtual environments, and new modes of listening.
MARCUS SCHMICKLER – A composer engaged in contemporary and electronic music, focusing on perception and computer-based methods.
MAJA BOSNIĆ – A Belgrade-based composer known for her playful constraints, use of everyday materials, and open-form creative approaches.
AHO SSAN – A French electronic musician whose work draws on identity, structure, and digitally driven sound practices.
LAIN IWAKURA – A Graz-based sound and performance artist whose work fluidly moves between composition, performance, DJ culture, spatial sound, theory, and collaborative activism.
ADMISSION IS FREE.
